Here's everything we saw in the new gameplay reveal
After months of anticipation, BioWare has finally revealed the first gameplay footage for Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. The footage provided some exciting new details about the game, including its setting, characters, and combat system.
The game is set in the Tevinter Imperium, a powerful and ancient nation that has been a major player in the Dragon Age series. Players will take on the role of a new protagonist, the Inquisitor, who is tasked with investigating a dangerous threat to Thedas. The gameplay footage showed off a variety of new locations, including the grand city of Minrathous and the treacherous Deep Roads.
The combat system in Dragon Age: Dreadwolf has been overhauled, with a new focus on speed and fluidity. Players will be able to chain together attacks and abilities to create devastating combos. The game also introduces a new system called "Focus," which allows players to slow down time and execute powerful attacks.
The gameplay footage also gave us a glimpse of some of the new characters that will be joining the Inquisitor on their journey. These include Solas, a mysterious elf who has been a major figure in the Dragon Age series, and Varric Tethras, a returning character from previous games.
